Hi, I'm Demri! An artist, photographer, writer + lifelong observer based in Seattle, Washington. I've explored creativity in a lot of different ways over the years, but photography has always been the constant. I'm drawn less to perfection and more to what feels alive: movement, intimacy, interesting light, unexpected composition and the moments that happen in between. Today, my practice moves between commissioned photography, personal art and writing — led by curiosity, presence and a desire to look deeper.
About
I grew up in a small town surrounded by farmland, with plenty of room to wander, imagine and play. Looking back, I think it shaped my appreciation for slowness and simplicity — something that still influences my work today.
My life has taken many forms since then. I’ve lived in different cities, built businesses, changed directions, became a wife + mother to two little girls and questioned more than a few ideas I once had about who I was supposed to be.
These days, I’m less interested in figuring it all out and more interested in staying curious, making things + building a life that feels yummy and aligned.
