This private property wedding holds a special place in my heart. Something so intimate about the unconditional love I get to witness through my couples. Gwenna and Dmriti were no exception to this. I had one of those ugly crying behind the camera type of moments that I know many photographers can relate to. Their wedding was full of genuine love and both families seemed to just seamlessly come together. Truly, the only phrase that comes to mind right away is pure, genuine, love. Their faith is also so evident and a huge part of their union. Grab a tissue and make sure to pay close attention to their first look.
The day started out at the Smith and Vallee Guest House where the bride and her wedding party got ready. Following, their private property wedding was completely made from scratch. Everything from the landscape to the clearing. They transformed the greenery forest space into a wildflower theme ceremony and reception. I mean look at those fun colors!
With a last-minute change of location, we had their first look at their neighbor’s house. It was freaking emotional and magical and absolutely lovely to capture. This was the moment I couldn’t contain myself because his emotion was FLOODING. Like tears streaming down his face. Of course, the exchange of their vows was a similar experience. A pure and heartwarming moment. They had actually met in high school and Dmitri knew very early on that he would marry her one day.
